Movie Review: Les Miserables

Les Miserables is a movie that surrounds a man name Jean Valjean, who is an ex-convict ( he was arrested for stealing bread for his sister's son) and Javert, an officer who devoted his life to putting Jean Back into Jail. The movie was heartfelt and a true masterpiece. The actors who portrayed these characters brought it to life. I felt the struggles, the joy, the love, and the urge for freedom during the french revolution. I cried when Fantine had to sell her body for the daughter she loves dearly and when Jean took Cosette away from those greedy innkeepers who were "watching" her for her mother ( and by watching I mean working like a dog ). I felt the love between Cosette and Marius when they saw each other for the first time. I don't want to say anymore spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it yet. I give this movie 5 stars.
